Analysis

Once again this week, the Phoenix valleywide housing inventory is up from last week, but so is the number of houses under contract.  Not only is the number of houses under contract up this week, the percentage of houses under contract increased by a greater margin than the percentage of new listings did.  That’s just the trend we need to turn this Phoenix real estate market of ours!

On an even more local level, the percentage of houses under contract in the Phoenix East Valley is back up to 7% this week.  Once again East Valley homes seem to be selling faster than the Phoenix valleywide average.  This statistic helps to prove that real estate really is local, and therefore that the real estate market cannot be accurately generalized.  Location, location, location…
